Top Down Games Performance in Costa Rica - Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top down games category in Costa Rica exhibited a range of performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how the top 5 games fared.

Clash Royale from Supercell experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at around $19K in early February, while downloads saw a high of approximately 17K in the same period. Active users started at 465K at the beginning of the quarter and gradually declined to around 418K by the end of March.

Paper Fold by AI Games FZ showed significant activity in downloads and active users. The game saw a peak in downloads with nearly 21K in late January, while active users reached a high of about 75K during the same time frame. Revenue for this period was mostly negligible, except for a minor spike of $16 in early February.

Sponge Art, also from AI Games FZ, had a notable start with downloads reaching around 26K in early January. However, both downloads and active users saw a downward trend, ending the quarter with approximately 2.3K downloads and 15K active users.

Among Us! from InnerSloth LLC maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging from 4.6K to 9.5K. Revenue numbers were modest, peaking at $137 at the end of December. Active users saw a decline from 9.6K at the start of the quarter to 6K by the end of March.

Lastly, Snake.io - Fun Online Snake by Kooapps showed a consistent performance in downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at around 8.9K in late January, while active users grew steadily from 15.8K to 22.9K throughout the quarter. Revenue remained minimal, with a slight peak of $37 in early January.
